Currency Converter turns an amount into any of 30 currencies and 15 cryptocurrencies using the latest European Central Bank reference rates and live crypto prices, lets you compare several at once on a 30-day chart with a trendline, and exports the data in several formats. Everything runs in your browser.

Converting an amount

Type an amount into the field at the top, then choose the currencies with the From and To dropdowns. The result updates instantly: every selected target currency is shown with its converted value, and the exact rate is printed underneath (for example 1 EUR = 1.08 USD). The swap button between the two dropdowns exchanges the source and target selection.

Several currencies at once

Both dropdowns are multi-select: open one and tick as many currencies as you like. Pick multiple targets to see the same amount in several currencies side by side, or multiple sources to convert each of them. Use Select all and Clear to change a whole list quickly — at least one currency always stays selected on each side.

The 30-day chart

The chart plots the last 30 days of exchange rates. Every currency in your selection gets its own coloured line, each measured against the first From currency so they share one scale, and the legend below the chart maps colours to currencies. A dashed amber line shows the converted amount on the right-hand axis. Hover the chart to read off every value for a single day.

The trendline

Pick a currency in the trendline dropdown to add a dashed red line that shows the overall direction (a least-squares linear fit) of that currency over the period. A rising line means the currency is strengthening against the reference over the window, a falling line that it is weakening.

Exporting

Choose a format and press Export. CSV, JSON and Markdown download the numbers behind the chart — the date plus one rate column per currency and the converted amount. SVG and PNG save the chart itself as an image you can drop into a document or presentation.

Privacy

Fiat exchange rates are fetched from the public frankfurter.app API (ECB reference rates) and crypto prices from the public Binance API. If a source is unavailable, a public backup dataset (currency-api) is used instead. Your amount and your selections stay in your browser and are never stored on a server. This is why the app is marked as green (Local).

Cryptocurrencies

The list also includes 15 popular cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, USDC and more), grouped under a separate Cryptocurrencies heading in both dropdowns. Fiat and crypto mix freely: convert EUR to BTC, or BTC to USD, and the 30-day chart draws the coin like any other currency. Crypto prices are quoted in EUR and come from the public Binance API, so they may differ slightly from other exchanges.
